Rio Ferdinand had the perfect response to Aston Villa star Douglas Luiz, who trolled him over their Champions League qualification.

Villa officially secured their place in Europe's top competition after Tottenham lost to Man City on Tuesday night.

It has been a brilliant season for Unai Emery with a top four place confirmed and they also reached the semi-final of the Europa Conference League.

Luiz was quick to send a message to Manchester United legend Ferdinand.

Ferdinand had started the beef with the Villa star after they lost 2-1 to the Red Devils.

He wrote: "U ok?" And also posted a picture of Luiz celebrating.
