Steven Caulker's career has taken some surprising turns in the years since he rose through the youth ranks at Tottenham.

But even after spending three years playing in Turkey, having previously scored on his England debut and lined up for Liverpool and QPR, Caulker's latest news may be his biggest shock yet.

The 32-year-old has taken to job-hunting platform LinkedIn to reveal that he is on the lookout for a new club, after coming to the end of his time at Spanish fifth tier side Malaga City.

Caulker had joined as player-manager at the start of the year, and stated his intention to continue pursuing his coaching ambitions, whilst still playing, in his next chapter.

He wrote in a post on the site: "LinkedIn family, please work your magic...

"I am looking for a new team ahead of the 2024/2025 season. Preferably as a coach, but I am still open to playing.
