Arsenal cult hero Lukas Podolski has drafted in iconic American boy band Backsreet Boys to headline at his upcoming music festival.

The 38-year-old, who currently plies his trade in Poland for Gornik Zabrze, has earned a £180million fortune thanks to his ventures into the kebab and ice cream industry.

Podolski launched his dessert brand Ice Cream United in 2017, before following that up with his first Mangal Doner chain the following year.

There are now over 30 of his kebab branches across Germany, with four being in his beloved Cologne, where he came through the club's academy.

And last year, the 2014 World Cup winner created Glucksgefuhle Festival alongside business partner Markus Krampe.

It turned out to be a huge hit, with over 135,000 people visiting the jamboree in Hockenheimring in Baden-Wurttemberg to make it Germany's largest festival.
