Bharti Airtel and Google Cloud have formed a long-term partnership to provide cloud solutions to businesses in India and promote the adoption of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) technology. Airtel will offer cloud managed services to its extensive customer base, which includes over 2,000 large enterprises and one million emerging businesses. Together, the companies aim to tap into India’s growing public cloud services market, projected to reach $17.8 billion by 2027. They plan to leverage their expertise in connectivity and artificial intelligence (AI) to develop cutting-edge AI/ML solutions. Airtel will utilize its vast dataset to train these solutions. The collaborative efforts will focus on creating solutions such as geospatial analytics for trend spotting, predictive capabilities, market assessment, risk management, and asset tracking. Additionally, they will develop voice analytics solutions for conversational applications across multiple languages and marketing technology solutions for consumer behavior forecasting, audience segmentation, and contextual advertising.
