Rain, possible storms will impact spring sports playoff action this week

The spring sports playoffs are in full swing, but inclement weather on Tuesday could create schedule changes across the state.
A band of rain moved across the state on Tuesday morning from the southwest to the northeast, and more showers and possible thunderstorms are expected throughout the day.
Some areas of the state could see as much as two inches of rain on Tuesday and Wednesday.
This weather means the playoff schedule for spring sports is going to be impacted, and those impacts could last multiple days as rain chances continue on Wednesday.
Baseball and softball playoffs are scheduled to resume on Tuesday with the third round games played at the higher seeds. A handful of games were played on Monday ahead of the rainy weather, but other games will be postponed.
