Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(Rs. 180.88 crore), Indian Railway Fin(Rs. 129.79 crore), Zomato(Rs. 91.57 crore), Jio Financial Servic(Rs. 91.23 crore), Adani Power(Rs. 88.52 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 83.79 crore), HAL(Rs. 81.63 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 78.15 crore), HUDCO(Rs. 72.27 crore) and M&M(Rs. 71.01 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 113.8 points up at 22217.85, while BSE Sensex rose 328.48 points to 73104.61.

In the Nifty index, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 5.49 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.93 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 3.24 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 2.60 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(up 2.43 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Cipla Ltd.(down 4.06 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 1.19 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.05 per cent) and Axis Bank Ltd.(down 0.81 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
