‘I dropped out of uni in Taiwan to find myself – and I think I found it on a Sligo farm’
Samamtha Ho had never left her home country and never set foot on a farm but after three months helping out on this suckler enterprise, she wants to bring Irish farming styles back to Taiwan

Halfway through her chemistry degree in Taiwan, Samamtha Ho decided to drop out and travel across Europe to try and find herself.
Somehow, the 21-year-old — who had never set foot in the countryside before — found herself on suckler farm in Sligo, helping an elderly farmer, who she affectionately calls “grandpa”.
