Maharashtra 10th, 12th Results 2024: Board Updates Date and Time
Maharashtra Board Exam 2024 Result Date: Amidst wild speculations on the dates of Maharashtra 2024 SSC (10th) and 2024 HSC (12th) result announcement, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has issued an important update on its official website mahresult.nic.in.
Maharashtra Board Exam 2024 Result Date: Amidst wild speculations on the dates of Maharashtra 2024 SSC (10th) and 2024 HSC (12th) result announcement, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has issued an important update on its official website mahresult.nic.in.
Refuting the reports that the Maharashtra SSC and HSC results will be announced on this and that date, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) asked people, especially the students to have patience and only believe official confirmation from the state board regarding the date and time of the board exam result declaration.
“Results for the Exams conducted in 2024 have not been announced so far”, the Maharashtra board said in a message posted on its official website.
“Please look for the announcement at Exams Result Portal results.gov.in and mahresult.nic.in”, the board added.
The Maharashtra board’s statement came after wildly circulated reports on May 11, 2024 that the Maharashtra class 10th and 12th results of the year have been announced.
The board however did not confirm the exact date and time to declare the 2024 board exam dates.
A look at previous dates of the result announcement, the Maharashtra board normally declares HSC 12th result in the last week of May and SSC 10th result in the first week of June.
In 2023, Maharashtra HSC 12th result was announced on May 25 and SSC 10th result on June 02, 2023.
The Maharashtra Board conducted the Class 10 (Secondary also known as SSC and Matric) from March 01 to 26, 2024.
Maharashtra HSC Class 12 or Class XII 2024 exam began on February 21 and ended on March 19, 2024.
12th Board Exam Results of Past Few Years
In 2023, the Maharashtra board had recorded a pass percentage of 91.25% - a decrease by about 3% as compared to 2022 when the 12th HSC Pass Percentage was 94.22%.
The board had recorded overall pass percentage of 99.63 in 2021 HSC board exam that was cancelled due to Covid 19 and result was prepared on internal assessment.
In 2020, the Maharashtra board had recorded 90.66 overall pass percentage. On the other hand in 2019, the Maharashtra state had recorded a pass percentage of 85.88% - a drop by around 03% as compared to 2018 when the 12th HSC Pass Percentage was 88.41%.
10th Board Exam Results of Past Few Years
In 2023, the Maharashtra state recorded an overall pass percentage of 93.83% - a decline by over 3.11 as compared to 2022 when the pass percentage was 96.94%. in SSC Class 10 exams.
The Maharashtra state board had announced Class 10 result in 2021 on July 16. In 2021, the SSC result was prepared based on internal assessment because of Covid-19 and most of the students were declared passed.
In 2020, the state board declared the result on July 29 when it recorded an overall pass percentage of 95.30 - an improvement by over 18.20 as compared to 2019 when the pass percentage 77.10.
In 2019, SSC result was announced on June 08 whereas in 2020 and 2021 they were delayed because of the Pandemic.
Students should note that the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declares the results of all nine Divisional Boards located in Pune, Mumbai, Nashik, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Latur, Nagpu, Amravati and Ratnagiri.
