IRCTC shares decline 0.81% as Sensex slides

Shares of the Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. traded at Rs 986.85 on BSE at 12:58PM (IST) on Monday, down 0.81 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 604.0 and a high of Rs 1076.35.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.

A total of 43,077 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:58PM (IST).

The stock of Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 79596.0 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 74.34, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 18.5. Return on equity (ROE) was at 40.58 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 144 stocks traded in the green, while 357 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 62.4 per cent in the Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. as of 31-Mar-2024 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 8.08 per cent and 12.72 per cent, respectively.
