Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Tata Motors(Rs. 429.42 crore), Zomato(Rs. 199.16 crore), GE Shipping(Rs. 198.10 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 135.48 crore), Indegene(Rs. 133.85 crore), ABB India(Rs. 116.89 crore), Jio Financial Servic(Rs. 108.58 crore), Hindustan Zinc(Rs. 107.22 crore), SBI(Rs. 105.55 crore) and UPL (Rs. 92.00 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 48.85 points up at 22104.05, while BSE Sensex rose 111.66 points to 72776.13.
In the Nifty index, Cipla Ltd.(up 5.61 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 3.90 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 3.14 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 3.12 per cent) and Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.95 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Motors Ltd.(down 8.31 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.90 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 1.82 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 1.30 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.24 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
