CBSE 12th Result 2024 declared, Pass Percentage tops 87.98%

According to CBSE 12th Result 2024 data, the overall pass percentage of is 87.98%, which is marginally higher than 2023 when the pass percentage was 87.33%.
"Out of 16,33,730 students who registered for the 2024 CBSE Class 12 exams, 16,21,224 students appeared for the exams. Out of them, 14,26,420 students passed the exams", the CBSE said.
The CBSE has not released the 12th Merit List and Toppers Names.
CBSE 12th Result 2024 - Top 10 Districts
Trivandrum district topped the 2024 CBSE XIIth board exam with an overall pass percentage of 99.91, followed by Vijaywada and Chennai respectively at 2nd and 3rd spot with pass percentages of 99.04% and 98.47%.

Schoolwise 12th result CBSE board
The Delhi government schools have achieved a success rate of 96.99 percent in the Class 12 board examinations.
The CTSA is among topper with 99.23 per cent students passing from them followed by 98.90 per cent from JNVs and 98.81 per cent from KVs. The pass percentage among the govt-aided and govt schools is 91.42 per cent and 88.23 per cent respectively. The pass percentage in the independent schools is 87.70 per cent.
The pass percentage among the girl students is 91.52% this year as against 90.68% in 2023. The pass percentage among the boy students in 2024 CBSE 12th exam is 85.12%.
Around 24,000 students have scored more than 95% in the Class 12 board exams 2024.
A total of 20,411 students registered themselves in foreign schools. 10,908 students passed the examination making the overall pass percentage is 95.84.
Compartment Exam 2024 Date
As per the official circular, if a students is unsatisfied with his or her marks, she/he can apply to verify his/her marksheet, or obtain a photocopy of the answer book, and request a re-evaluation.
The verification window will open for 5 days from the 4th day of the announcement of the results. Students unhappy with their scores can apply for verification of marks online on cbseresults.nic.in by filling out the application form and paying required fee.
As per the official schedule, the CBSE supplementary exams will be held from July 15. The process for verification of the marks for class 10 will be done from May 20 to 24, 2024.
CBSE 12th 2025 Exam Date
While announcing the 10th board exams of the year 2024, the Central board also confirmed the start date of the CBSE 12th 2025 exams. It said the 10th and 12th board exams in the next academic year will start on February 15, 2025.
Details datesheet and the time table of the CBSE 2025 exams will be released in due time.
The CBSE had conducted the Class 12th exams from February 15 to April 02, 2024.
The CBSE Class 12 exams in 2023 were conducted from February 15 to April 05, 2023. The CBSE Class 12 result was also declared on May 12, 2023.
