Financial technology giant PayPal has asked a Texas court to dismiss a claim that its online payments business was built on trade secrets “misappropriated” from an Irish firm.
Internet Payments Patents Limited (IPPL) sued PayPal in January alleging misappropriation of trade secrets based on disclosures in a meeting it says occurred 22 years ago.
