The Steamboat Chamber Singers are returning under the new direction of Vincent Lee with two upcoming performances — May 17 at 7 p.m. and May 18 at 4 p.m.
This choral ensemble, known for performing high-quality music, is composed of local singers (who also happen to be doctors, teachers and service workers in our town). These two performances will feature some familiar songs, as well as some new and inspirational pieces.
The theme of “New Beginnings” is a reflection on the group, which changed when longtime director Christel Houston moved to Florida last year. Tickets are available at the door at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, or in advance from choir members.
