Fireworks set off outside Leeds’ hotel before huge Championship play-off semi-final with Norwich

Norwich and Leeds go head-to-head at Carrow Road on Sunday in the first leg of the Championship play-off semi-finals.

However, any hope the Leeds players getting a restful night's sleep was seemingly ruined thanks to fireworks being let off outside their hotel.

Videos circulating on social media allege to show a Norwich fan setting off fireworks outside Sprowston Manor, where their opponents are staying the night before the game.

The match kick-offs at 12pm, so Daniel Farke's side stayed overnight in order to get the best preparation possible.

However, that was seemingly scuppered by a pyrotechnic display in the early hours.

Leeds were forced to take the play-off route after agonisingly missing out on automatic promotion to Ipswich.
