Pawan will remain as a failed politician in the history of andhra pradesh state. In 2019 elections, Pawan contested from gajuwaka and bhimavaram seats and lost. This time Pawan is contesting from Pithapuram. But jagan is trying hard to defeat Pawan. On May 11, the last and crucial day of the election campaign, jagan held a meeting in pithapuram and killed Pawan's chances of winning.

If there are 2.29 lakh voters in pithapuram, there are 75 thousand voters belonging to Kapu community. There are 28 SCs, 20 thousand Malas, 8 thousand Madigas, 23 thousand Shetti Balijas, 17 thousand fishermen, 10 thousand Reds, 9 thousand Koppula Velama, 7 thousand Eastern Kapu, 6 thousand Kshatriyas. Considering these social groups it can be said that Kapule will rule the win in this constituency. pawan kalyan belongs to the Kapu social class and therefore has the potential to attract them.
