55 Resort Apartments at Water Valley in Windsor will host a free fall prevention class for older adults from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday at 500 Apex Drive.
The class — which will be led by experts from Covell Care Rehab — is open to all seniors in the community, according to a release from the town of Windsor.
The class will cover a variety of topics, according to the release, including:
• Identifying fall hazards in the home environment.
• Balance and strengthening exercises.
• Safe walking techniques.
• Proper footwear selection.

This fall prevention class, led by the experts at Covell Care Rehab, will empower residents with knowledge and techniques to minimize fall risks and maintain their active lifestyles.”
