Vivo's foldable smartphone, the X Fold3 Pro, which recently debuted in China, will launch in India by early June, according to industry sources cited by MySmartPrice. The global variant of the device was recently spotted on Geekbench. The phone maker claims that its Carbon Fiber Hinge, tested by TÜV Rheinland, can endure up to 500,000 folds or last for 12 years. In the Indian market, it'll compete with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and OnePlus Open.

The Indian Vivo X Fold3 Pro will likely mirror the specifications of its China counterpart, which features an 8.03-inch primary screen and a 6.53-inch outer display. Both support LTPO technology with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The inner panel offers a resolution of (1172x2748) pixels, while the outer panel provides a resolution of (2200x2480) pixels. The rear camera setup includes 50MP main, 50MP ultra-wide, and 64MP periscope sensors with 3x optical zoom. There are dual 32MP cameras up front.

    Hardware

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC

The Vivo X Fold3 Pro uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device houses a 5,700mAh battery, with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. On the software front, the Indian version must operate on Android 14-based Funtouch OS. As for safety, the device boasts an IPX8 rating, protecting it from dust and water.
