New Delhi: Internet sensation Simran Yadav recently landed in trouble after a video of herself recklessly waving a gun in a public place started doing rounds on social media.
The viral clip sees the content creator shaking her leg to a Bhojpuri track while standing at the center of a Lucknow Highway wearing a bright orange outfit.
In the same video, she is also seen holding a pistol in her hand, waiving it a couple of times before tossing it away and continuing to lip-sync the song.

Meanwhile, as Simran’s objectionable video caught the attention of a social media user Advocate Kalyan ji Chaudhary, he immediately took to his X handle & re-posted it while raising concern on the matter.
Tagging the authorities, Kalyan shared the influencer’s clip & wrote,” Instagram star Simran Yadav is openly making a mockery of law & traffic rules by waiving pistol on a highway. She is only doing this to put an impression in her community but the authorities are still sitting tight-lipped.”
Lucknow Police’s Responds

Replying to Kalyan’s post, Lucknow police later informed that concerned officials have been directed to investigate & take action regarding the matter.
Taking to the official X account of Police Commissionerate Lucknow, the police wrote, “We have directed the concerned to proceed with the necessary actions.”
Netizens Reacts
Besides the police, several netizens also slammed Simran for her careless behavior by taking to the comment box of the viral clip. While some called her an attention seeker, others said that the weapon shown in the video was not real but a toy gun.
“Pistol is photoshopped. Gun culture is bad but the real culprits are the bahubalis” wrote one user. Another added,” I think she is using a toy gun. A third comment read, “Such accounts should be removed from Instagram( as additional punishment and other so-called influencers(bad) will not like to do such things)”
