09:35 AM: The Tamil Nadu State Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) has announced the Class 10 or SSLC result 2024 which is now live on the official website.
The state has registered a pass percentage of 91.55% in the 2024 SSLC exams.
A total of 4,105 schools, including 1,364 run by the state government, secured a 100% pass percentage in the TN SSLC Results 2024. There are a total of 12,625 schools in Tamil Nadu.
Pass percentage of girl students is 94.53% whereas that of boys is 88.58%.
09:00 AM: The Tamil Nadu State Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) is set to declare the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (TBSE SSLC) 10th results 2024 on its official website tnresults.nic.in as well as on associate websites today i.e. Friday May 10, 2024, it is officially confirmed.
The Tamil Nadu State Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) officially confirmed that TNBSE SSLC result 2024 will be declared today at 09:30 am on tnresults.nic.in and other websites.
More than 9 lakh students from different districts of Tamil Nadu had appeared for the TN Class 10 exams held at 4,107 exam centres from March 26 to April 08, 2024.

- Click on TN Board SSLC Xth Class Results 2024.
- Enter Registration Number and Date of Birth.
- Check your class 10th SSLC results once it appears on the screen.
- Download and then take a printout of the same.
Candidates can also check TN SSLC results of March 2024 exams at dge.tn.gov.in, dge1.tn.nic.in, tnresults.nic.in and dge1.tn.nic.in.
The TN board has officiall confirmed that Tamil Nadu SSLC Class 10 result 2024 will be live at tnresults.nic.in and some other mirror websites today at 09:30 am. A delay of few minutes is possible.
TN 10th SSLC Result on SMS
To get Tamil Nadu 10th Result 2024 as an SMS on phone, candidates will have to register the mobile number at the official websites.
Candidates are advised to contact their school to obtain hard copy of mark sheet from June 22 onwards from the website www.dge.tn.nic.in.
TN SSLC Previous Years Pass Percentages
The TN board had registered an overall Pass Percentage of 91.39 in the Class 10 SSLC exams held in 2023.
In 2022, Tamil Nadu State Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) had published Class 10th i.e. SSLC result and Merit List containing the names of toppers on its official website tnresults.nic.in on June 20, 2022. The overall pass percent in 2022 was 90.07%.
In 2021 and 2020 TN SSLC Class 10 exams were disturbed by the Covid 19 pandemic.
In 2019, TN SSLC exams were conducted smoothly and the board had registered pass percentage of 95.20, in 2018 the pass percent was 94.5, in 2017 it was 94.40 and in 2016 the pass percent was 93.6.
Tamil Nadu HSE +2 result 2024 was announced on May 06, 2024. The state registered a pass percentage of 93.76% in HSE +2 or Class 12th exams 2024.
The Class 11 or HSE +1 exam result will be announced on May 14, 2024, students should note.
