Seatrium Ltd. has secured a contract involving floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) topsides integration for its long-standing customer Offshore Frontier Solutions Pte. Ltd., a MODEC Group company.

According to a Seatrium media release, the scope of work under the contract covers the installation and integration of topside modules on the FPSO Errea Wittu, and includes completion and commissioning support for MODEC.

"We are pleased to be working with our longstanding customer, MODEC, on yet another FPSO topsides integration project, solidifying our position as the industry leader in FPSO conversions. Through our strong partnership and unwavering dedication, including decades of collaboration with MODEC, we continue to deliver cutting-edge offshore solutions that redefine excellence. Leveraging our deep engineering expertise, international yard footprint, and strong track record, Seatrium provides innovative, reliable, quality, and value-added offshore and marine solutions for our esteemed customers", Seatrium Executive Vice President for Oil and Gas in the Americas Marlin Khiew said.

The FPSO Errea Wittu will be deployed in the Uaru Field, located approximately 200 kilometers (124 miles) offshore Guyana within the Stabroek Block. Seatrium said that upon completion, the FPSO is expected to boast an impressive production capacity of 250,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd), along with water injection capabilities of 350,000 barrels of water per day (bwpd). Gas production is anticipated to reach 540 million cubic feet per day (MMcfpd). The facility will also have an oil storage capacity of two million barrels.

Seatrium said since its inception it has delivered a significant number of FPSO projects for MODEC, dating back to the Whakaaropai, the first FPSO conversion completed by MODEC in 1996.

Currently, Seatrium is actively involved in the integration work for FPSO Bacalhau, destined for operation in the Bacalhau field within the Santos Basin offshore Brazil. Furthermore, its Brazilian shipyard, BrasFELS in Angra dos Reis, is currently executing topside module fabrication for another FPSO vessel, the FPSO Raia, according to Seatrium.
