    Motorola has launched its latest true wireless earphones, the Moto Buds and Moto Buds+, in the Indian market, following their European debut last month. As for the highlights, the earbuds come with features such as Hi-Res Audio certifications, dynamic active noise cancellation (ANC), Dolby Atmos support, triple mic systems, and water-repellent designs. The high-end variant, Moto Buds+, boasts "Sound by Bose," highlighting collaboration with the renowned American audio equipment manufacturer.

    The Moto Buds are priced at ₹4,999 in India, with an instant discount of ₹1,000 available for ICICI Bank credit card holders. This brings the effective price down to ₹3,999. The Moto Buds are available in Pantone-curated colors—Coral Peach, Glacier Blue, and Starlight Blue. The Moto Buds+ is retailing at ₹9,999, but it can be purchased for ₹7,999 using ICICI Bank credit cards. The Buds+ come in Beach Sand and Forest Grey colorways.

    The Moto Buds feature single 12.4mm dynamic drivers, while the Moto Buds+ come with dual dynamic drivers, including an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. Both models offer active noise cancellation—up to 50dB for the Moto Buds and up to 46dB for the Moto Buds+. They provide three preset modes of noise filtering: Transparency, Adaptive, and Noise Cancellation. The premium variant, Moto Buds+, also includes a Dolby Head Tracking feature that adjusts audio based on head movements.

    Battery life and charging

    The Moto Buds offer up to 42 hours total battery life, while the Moto Buds+ provide up to 38 hours. With ANC off, the Moto Buds deliver up to nine hours of playback and the Buds+ up to eight hours. A quick 10-minute charge can power the Moto Buds for up to two hours and the Plus model for up to three hours. Both earphone charging cases support Type-C charging, with the Moto Buds+ case also offering wireless charging.

    Durability and connectivity features

    The charging cases for both models have an IPX4 rating for splash resistance, while the Moto Buds+ earphones themselves have an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. Both earphones support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The Moto Buds with their charging case weigh 36g, while the Moto Buds+ weigh 42.8g. The earphones work with the Moto Buds app, currently available only for Android devices on the Play Store. Motorola is also working on an iOS app.
