BEL shares drop 0.84% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Bharat Electronics Ltd. traded at Rs 229.75 on BSE at 10:50AM (IST) on Thursday, down 0.84 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 105.75 and a high of Rs 241.5.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 48.68 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 4.88 per share and 5.14 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 1,495,386 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:50AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 169367.58 crore and is part of the Defence Contractor industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 113.72 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 21.92 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 238.15 and Rs 229.2.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 51.14 per cent in the company as of 31-Mar-2024. FII and MF ownership in Bharat Electronics Ltd. stood at 17.56 per cent and 18.06 per cent, respectively.
