Amid the ongoing beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, the Canadian artist and his Toronto home are back in the news again...and things are starting to get spooky.

On Tuesday, we told you about how a security guard working outside at Drake’s mansion was shot in front of his home. He was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Now, just one day after that shooting, CNN has revealed that there was an attempted break-in at the same property.

It’s unclear whether or not Drake was inside his home at the time of the attempted break-in. Local authorities also said that they don’t believe this incident and the prior shooting of the security guard are connected.

Ashley Visser, media relations officer for the Toronto Police Department, explained that the person was “apprehended” under Ontario’s Mental Health Act and was “taken to obtain medical assistance.”

The Mental Health Act details the” powers and obligations of psychiatric facilities in Ontario. It governs the admission process, the different categories of patient admission, as well as directives around assessment, care and treatment.” Patient rights are also referred to, including procedural details such as rights of appeal to the Consent and Capacity Board,” according to the Canadian Mental Health Association.

These incidents occurred as the two rappers have seemingly wrapped up an ongoing rap beef that captivated audiences last week. The last contribution came from the “God’s Plan” rapper, who dropped “The Heart Part 6" on Cinco De Mayo.
