Karnataka SSLC Result 2024: The evaluation work and assessment of the SSLC answer sheet was done from April 15 to 24, 2024. A total of 61,160 examiners at 237 evaluation centres in 35 educational districts of the state were involved in the process.
A total of 859,967 students had appeared in the Karanataka SSLC exams 2024. Out of them 631,204 passed, according to the Karnataka SSLC result 2024 data.
A total of 493,900 students from Urban areas appeared in the Class 10 Karnataka board exams. Out of them, 359,703 have passed with a pass percentage of 72.83%.
In rural areas, 366,067 students appeared in the exam. Of them, 271,501 (74.17%) have been decleared passed.

Pass Percentage Decline
The board said the state registered an overall pass percentage of 73.40% in the 2024 SSLC exams held in the months of March and April.
"A total of 631,204 students passed the examination, resulting in a pass percentage of 73.40%", the board said.
This is 10% less than the 2023 board exam when the pass percentage was 83.89%.
Girls again outperformed the boys registering a pass percentage of 81.11% (total 3,43,788 girl students). The pass percentage of boys is 65.90% (total 2,87,416 boys passed), according to the Karnataka Class 10 result data released today.
Karnataka SSLC Topper 2024
Ankita Basappa Konnur from Bangalakote is the Karnataka SSLC 2024 Topper. She secured 100% i.e. 625 out of the total 625 marks.
As many as 07 students came 2nd securing 624 marks. A total of 14 students attained 623 marks and jointly shared the 3rd rank in the SSLC Merit List.
A total of 21 students got 622 marks and came 4th. Additionally, 44 students received 621 marks, and 64 students achieved a score of 620 marks and secured their position in SSLC Top 10 List.
Udupi emerged as the top performing district with 94% result. South Kannada came second with a pass percentage of 92.12% and Shivamogga district came 3rd with a pass percentage of 88.67%.
Karanataka SSLC result 2024 was declared today at a press conference jointly addressed by Chairperson Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board Manjushree B, Principal Secretary Department of School Education and Literacy Ritesh Kumar, and Director KSEAB Gopalkrishna.
Ritesh Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary School Education Department said the reason for the decline in the pass percentage of the the Karnataka SSLC 2024 was due to webcasting which was introduced in order to reduce malpractice and ensure examination integrity.

According to the officials, Karnataka SSLC 2024 result is declared and available for download from Thursday May 09, 2024 at 10:30 am on the official website karresults.nic.in. However a delay of few minutes here and there is expected.
Candidates shoul also note that server response time could be slow soon after the result is declared. This is hence students are advised not to get panicked and wait for some time before retrying.

SSLC Karnataka result of last three years
In 2023, KSEEB SSLC exam was held from March 31 to April 15, 2023. The Karnataka SSLC Result 2023 was declared on May 08, 2023.
The overall pass percentage in 2023 was 83.89% with over 61,000 students securing A+ grade (90 to 100%) and 1,47,634 students passing with A grade (80 to 89%).
The overall pass percentage in Karnataka 10th exam in the year 2022 was 90.29%. A total of 145 students scored 100% marks to emerge toppers in 2022.
In 2021, nearly all students were declared passed with the Karnataka board registering a pass percentage of 99.99% for the first time in the history of SSLC 10th exams. Overall pass percentage in 2020 was 71.80%.
The state board had not released the merit list and details of toppers in 2021 as the academic year was hit by the Pandemic.
In 2020, the Class 10 exam result was announced on August 10 and the overall pass percentage recorded in the state was 71.80 per cent, which is nearly a two per cent drop from 2019.
