Sensex falls! These stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 501.9 points down at 72964.49 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Kiran Syntex(down 19.22 per cent), Retro Green Revoluti(down 16.45 per cent), Nutech Global(down 12.58 per cent), Greenhitech Ventures(down 9.99 per cent) and Sri Nachammai(down 9.96 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 9 stocks traded in the green, while 41 stocks traded in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 166.05 points down at 22136.45.

On the BSE, Ibull Housing Fin(PP), ESAF Small Finance, Sparc Systems, Future Supply Chain and Berger Paints hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Ashirwad Steels, Ras Resorts, Mahaan Foods, Mitshi India and Parle Industries touched their fresh 52-week highs.
