IPL 2024: Harshal Patel becomes first bowler with this record 

Playing his 12th match this season, Harshal (3/38) now owns to 20 wickets at 20.00 (ER: 9.75). He is the only bowler to scale 20-plus scalps. Harshal, who clocked 3/38 from his four overs, has displaced Jasprit Bumrah for the IPL 2024 Purple Cap this season. Mumbai Indians pacer Bumrah has 18 scalps from 12 matches at 16.50.

Rossouw joins elite Proteas list with 50th T20 half-century

Veteran South African batter Rossouw smashed his 50th half-century in T20 cricket. Notably, Rossouw became the fourth South African batter to accomplish 50 half-centuries in the 20-over format. Only AB de Villiers (69), Faf du Plessis (68), and Quinton de Kock (61) boast more fifties in T20 cricket among Proteas batters. In addition to 50 fifties, Rossouw has six T20 tons.
