There is no change at the top, as Baby Reindeer remains the No. 1 show on Netflix. Richard Gadd’s autobiographical drama is on pace to become one of Netflix’s top shows of 2024. New additions to the top three include Katt Williams’s latest special, Woke Foke, and David E. Kelly’s latest drama, A Man in Full. Below, we have listed the top 10 shows in the U.S. from April 29 to May 5, along with general information about each show, including genre, rating, cast, and synopsis.

10. The Circle season 6 (2020)
The Circle, the successful Netflix reality competition, returns for season 6 with an all-new twist. For the first time, the series will include an AI chatbot named Max, who will attempt to catfish his way to victory. Contestants will compete in various social media challenges to prove they have what it takes to become the top social influencer and win $100,000.
Comedian Michelle Buteau returns as the host. Usually filmed in a secluded house in Northern New England, The Circle season 6 was shot in Atlanta. The first four episodes of season 6 premiered on April 17. Nw episodes will be released every Wednesday before the season finale on May 8.
9. John Mulaney Presents: Everybody's in L.A. season 1 (2024)
In honor of Netflix Is A Joke Fest 2024, comedian John Mulaney is hosting six shows as part of a new series called John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in L.A. Mulaney kicked off the series on May 3 with a guest list that included Jerry Seinfeld, Will Ferrell, Ray J, Chelsea Peretti, Natasha Leggero, Earthquake, and Stavros Halkias.
From May 6 to 10, Everybody in L.A. will go live on Netflix at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. Over the six episodes, Mulaney will riff on L.A.-centric topics, from the Leonardo DiCaprio Computer Center and TreePeople to coyotes and real estate. You can also expect a lot of surprise appearances from comedians along the way.
8. My Next Guest with David Letterman and John Mulaney (2024)
After retiring from late-night television in 2015, David Letterman moved to Netflix in 2018 with a new talk show, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. Over four seasons, Letterman has compiled an impressive list of guests, from Barack Obama and Tina Fey to Billie Eilish and Kevin Durant.
For the first time in two years, David Letterman returns with a special edition of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. In this new special, Letterman sits down with comedian John Mulaney at the comedian’s Chicago high school. The duo will discuss addiction, fatherhood, and the state of stand-up comedy.
7. Selling The OC season 3 (2022)
The Oppenheim Group is back in Selling the OC season 3. In this reality series, audiences are invited into the world of high-end real estate in Orange County, California. Led by Jason and Brett Oppenheim, the agents at the Oppenheim Group must navigate rival firms, office fights, and hookup drama.
The agents featured in season 3 include Polly Brindle, Kayla Cardona, Alex Hall, Ali Harper, Gio Helou, Alexandra Jarvis, Brandi Marshall, Sean Palmieri, Alexandra Rose, Tyler Stanaland, and Austin Victoria.
6. Dead Boy Detectives season 1 (2024)
The Sandman universe is expanding on Netflix with Dead Boy Detectives. Based on characters by Neil Gaiman and Matt Wagner, Dead Boy Detectives follows Charles Rowland (Jayden Revri) and Edwin Paine (George Rexstrew), two teenagers who refuse to go to the afterlife. George, who died in 1916, and Edwin, who passed away in 1989, became best friends in death.
After choosing to remain on Earth, the duo moonlight as ghost detectives, investigating supernatural crimes and activity. With the help of clairvoyant Crystal (Kassius Nelson) and their friend Niko (Yuyu Kitamura), the detectives try to provide answers for unsolvable crimes in this entertaining dramedy series.
5. The Roast of Tom Brady (2024)
Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback ever, aka “The G.O.A.T.” Over his 23-year career, Brady was one of the fiercest competitors in the league, refusing to back down from a challenge. For the first time in Brady’s life, he can’t fight back in the Roast of Tom Brady. Originally airing inside the Kia Forum on May 5, The Roast of Tom Brady featured a wide range of comedians insulting the seven-time Super Bowl winner.
The list of comedians at the roast included Kevin Hart, Jeff Ross, Nikki Glazer, Tom Segura, Tony Hinchcliffe, and more. Plus, several of Brady’s teammates and coaches were in attendance to make fun of their quarterback, including Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, Bill Belichick, and Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
4. The Asunta Case (2024)
One of the most harrowing true crime cases in Spanish history comes to life in The Asunta Case. On September 21, 2013, Rosario Porto (Candela Peña) and Alfonso Basterra (Tristán Ulloa) filed a missing person report for their 13-year-old adopted daughter, Asunta Fong Yang (Iris Whu).
However, Asunta was found dead outside Santiago, Spain, hours after going missing. The autopsy found that Asunta died from asphyxiation and had nearly 30 Lorazepam pills in her system. During the investigation, the authorities question the parents, as their alibi does not check out. Could Asunta’s parents have played a part in her death?
3. A Man in Full (2024)
David E. Kelly, the creator behind Big Little Lies and The Lincoln Lawyer, is back on Netflix with his latest drama series, A Man in Full. Based on the bestselling novel by Tom Wolfe, A Man in Full stars Jeff Daniels as Atlanta real estate mogul Charlie Croker, whose empire begins to crumble when he faces bankruptcy. As he fights to keep his business, many of his rivals attempt to exploit his downfall.
Other notable characters include Martha Croker (Diane Lane), Tom’s wife, who wishes to keep her social status; Raymond Peepgrass (Tom Pelphrey), a businessman looking to strike against Charlie; and Roger White, a distinguished Black lawyer.
2. Katt Williams: Woke Foke (2024)
Katt Williams is one of the greatest comedians of his generation. On May 4, Williams took the stage for a live comedy special, Katt Williams: Woke Foke, that’s now available to stream on demand. Wearing a “Woke Foke” necklace, Williams hit the stage at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, for another memorable set.
Like it says in the title, Williams tackled the idea of being “woke” and explained why it’s not so bad. Williams loves to call out people, and the comedian delivers on that promise, taking shots at Nick Cannon, former President Donald Trump, President Joe Biden, Oprah, and even The Illuminati.
1. Baby Reindeer (2024)
Richard Gadd adapted his award-winning play Baby Reindeer into a seven-episode Netflix series. The dramedy stars Gadd as Donny, a comedian who works as a bartender to pay the bills. During one of his shifts, Donny meets Martha (Jessica Gunning). At that moment, the vulnerable Martha needs a friend, so Donny shows her kindness. This simple act ignites a strange relationship between the two as Martha begins to stalk Donny incessantly.
The obsession disrupts the lives of both Donny and Martha. It forces Donny to explore a previous tragedy he buried within himself. The genius of Baby Reindeer is it never paints Donny as the victim and Martha as the villain. The show provides empathy and compassion for both characters, with plenty of laughs along the way.
