Mazraoui is beaten on the right wing by Rodrygo who pushed deep into the final third and passes it to Vini inside the box but he fails to control it. 

Bayern breaks into an attack as Liamer plays it to Sane on the right but a little too much power into it as the ball runs away for a goal kick. 

Gnabry cuts and tries to dribble inside the box from the left flank but is stopped by Tchouameni. 

Vinicius dribbles in the middle of the park but Laimer keeps on him and wins the ball back. 

Rodrygo dribbles in and tries to pass it to Bellingham inside the box but intercepted by Laimer.

Kimmich finds Sane behind Madrid’s backline but the winger’s cross deep into the final third on the right wing lacked quality and is headed away. 

Madrid attacks from the right wing after a quick throw in as Vini gets the ball on the left wing and his first attempt hits the far post and the ball comes back to Rodrygo on the rebound. The winger tries a shot again but straight into Neuer’s gloves. 

Real Madrid is controlling the possession but Bayern is pressing aggressively for the ball. 

Musiala plays it to Gnabry on the left wing as he takes a touch and tries to square it to Kane on the far post but lacked quality. The ball runs behind for a goal kick. 

Madrid attacks in numbers as Vini swicthes the wing to Carvajal. The right-back plays a low driven cross inside the box for Rodrygo but he fails to reach in time. 

Bayern on the counter. Kane tries to thread a through to Sane but Kroos makes a sliding interception. 

Madrid is piling on the pressure as it tries to dictate the wings. Bayern remains on the back foot at the moment. 

Bayern kicks the game off but Madrid wins the ball almost instantly, launches an attack on the left wing as the ball goes out for a corner. The set-piece chance is cleared away but Madrid is playing with a high backline. 

Its all square after first leg as the the two European giants lock horns in Madrid’s fortress.
