Saxophone Legend Branford Marsalis Joins North Country Chamber Players for an Exclusive Performance at Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa

Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa is excited to present an exclusive musical event featuring the iconic saxophonist Branford Marsalis, in partnership with the North Country Chamber Players. Join us on Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm EDT for a performance that blends classical and contemporary elements, highlighted by American masterpieces.

Branford Marsalis, a distinguished composer and a recipient of three Grammy Awards, as well as a Tony and Emmy nominee, will collaborate with the talented North Country Chamber Players. The concert will include pieces from celebrated composers like George Gershwin and Valerie Coleman, celebrating the rich tapestry of American music.

The repertoire will include Coleman’s “American Vein” and “Maombi Asante,” Ellen Taafe Zwillich’s “Quintet,” and Rufus Reid’s “Cross Currents,” complemented by a mesmerizing selection of Gershwin tunes.
