Man found dead after shooting in Northeast Portland

The shooting happened shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday in the area of Northeast Weidler Street and 3rd Avenue. No arrests have been made.

PORTLAND, Ore. — A man was found dead after a reported shooting early Sunday morning in Northeast Portland, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) reported.

On Monday, PPB identified the man as 45-year-old Bruce O. Glass. His family has been notified of his death.

Officers responded to the area of Northeast Weidler Street and 3rd Avenue, near a 7-Eleven just blocks away from Moda Center, at 4:10 a.m. Sunday and found a dead man at the scene.

Homicide and forensic detectives from PPB investigated for several hours.

No suspect or suspects were located, police said, and no arrests have been made.
