Broadcaster Paul Byrne and Virgin Media agree to mediate dispute over his suspension

Mediation is to take place to try to resolve a High Court action by broadcaster Paul Byrne over Virgin Media television's decision to bring internal disciplinary proceedings against him , a judge was told.

The case was adjourned after the sides agreed to mediate the dispute, Mr Justice Mark Sanfey was told today.
