Indian Oil Corp. shares drop 3.66% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. traded at Rs 160.2 on BSE at 01:19PM (IST) on Tuesday, down 3.66 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 82.45 and a high of Rs 196.8.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 5.13 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 29.55 per share and 1.26 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 2,314,941 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:19PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 234836.19 crore and is part of the Oil Refining & Marketing industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 93.55 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 20.14 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 168.25 and Rs 160.0.

Promoters held 51.5 per cent in the company as of 31-Mar-2024. FII and MF ownership in Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. stood at 8.5 per cent and 2.34 per cent, respectively.
