Chola Inv Finance shares drop 1.18% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd. traded at Rs 1310.0 on BSE at 01:49PM (IST) on Tuesday, down 1.18 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 975.75 and a high of Rs 1352.9.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 30.13 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 40.73 per share and 4.37 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 11,037 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:49PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 111364.22 crore and is part of the NBFC - Diversified industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 32.0 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 20.48 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 1329.95 and Rs 1288.4.

Promoters held 50.21 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2023. FII and MF ownership in Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd. stood at 26.0 per cent and 14.09 per cent, respectively.
