Maleah Joi Moon hit the Met Gala red carpet in a pair of Butterfly Yellow sandals from Rene Caovilla on Monday at Metropolitan Museum in New York City.

The actress has been riding high in 2024 thus far, currently starring as 17-year-old Ali in the broadway musical “Hell’s Kitchen.” Taking place at the Shubert Theatre, the show is loosely based on the story of singer Alicia Keys’ personal upbringing as she explores the energy and music of Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood in the 1990s.

Classic elevated pumps are frequently incorporated into Moon’s wardrobe for formal events. Last week, the broadway star attended the 39th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards wearing a pair of black suede pointed-toe pumps that featured a slim stiletto heel measuring between 3.5 and 4-inches. For the 77th Annual Tony Awards Meet the Nominees Press Event earlier this month, Moon could be seen sporting a pair of strappy gold sandals with a stiletto heel that also clocked in-between 3.5 and 4 inches. Those shoes mirrored the Butterfly Yellow Sandals worn by Moon to the Met Gala, which itself was complemented by the actress’ floral Asymmetrical Cascade Detail dress from Collina Strada.

About the Shoes

The Butterfly Yellow Sandals are an elegant pair of luxury sandals characterized by a satin design and vivid yellow color. Made in Italy, the shoes feature a round toe and a stardust outsole. The defining element of the sandals are two micro-sized butterflies covered in small crystals, each of which are delicately placed on slim ankle straps. The shoes are completed by a stiletto heel height measuring 4.1-inches.
