Wynn Resorts, Limited unveils fresh visuals of its forthcoming deluxe retreat, Wynn Al Marjan Island, presently in the works in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
This venture marks the company’s inaugural endeavor in beachfront accommodations, set on a picturesque island spanning nearly 62 hectares that extends into the Arabian Gulf. Wynn Resorts spearheads this initiative in collaboration with Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding, poised to establish the first-of-its-kind integrated gaming resort in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region.

Wynn Design and Development has masterminded the distinctive gaming resorts synonymous with the Wynn brand. Having left an indelible mark on the global landscape with iconic resorts across two continents, including the forthcoming one in Ras Al Khaimah, it’s evident that no other design and architecture team has wielded a greater influence in the creation of gaming resorts worldwide than Wynn Design and Development.
“Historically, the area around Ras Al Khaimah was a beacon for navigation and important trade on the Arabian Gulf. Early travelers through the gulf relied upon this tented settlement as a trade landmark between the Arabian Gulf and the Arabian Sea,” said Todd Lenahan, President and Chief Creative Officer of Wynn Design and Development. “We designed the 300-meter-tall resort tower with Ras Al Khaimah’s historic role as a great navigational sentinel in mind. We hope this becomes a new landmark, a new beacon, for travelers to Ras A Khaimah from across the globe.”
Perched atop its own pristine white sand beach, with vistas spanning the Arabian Gulf and the natural splendor of Ras Al Khaimah, stretching towards the Hajar Mountains, Wynn Al Marjan Island promises a haven of opulence and unparalleled experiences. Boasting 1,542 rooms and lavishly adorned suites, the resort includes 22 exclusive Villa Estates nestled along the newly crafted marina adjoining the premises. An expansive poolscape, covering 3.6 hectares, graces the beachfront, featuring a plethora of swimming pools, water attractions, secluded cabanas, and lush tropical greenery.
The meticulously curated selection of 22 dining venues, lounges, and bars each exudes its own distinct charm within uniquely designed spaces, many offering panoramic vistas of the beach and poolscape. The theater showcases bespoke productions to captivate guests.
In addition, the resort encompasses a sprawling 15,000-square-meter shopping promenade housing premier luxury boutiques, a five-star spa, and salon facilities. Designed to host gatherings ranging from meetings and conventions to extravagant celebrations like weddings, the 7,500-square-meter events center boasts ample outdoor terraces and lawns.
Construction commenced in early 2023 under the stewardship of ALEC Engineering and Contracting, a prominent UAE-based contractor. Presently towering at approximately 40 meters, the structure is anticipated to reach its full height of over 300 meters by the fourth quarter of 2025, with the grand opening slated for early 2027.
Ras Al Khaimah stands as one of the MENA region’s burgeoning tourism hotspots, conveniently situated near major airports such as Ras Al Khaimah, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi.
