Pradeep Kumar, Deputy Director, NCDC Thiruvananthapuram met with Smt. Mini Antony, IAS, Secretary(Coop), Govt. Of Kerala recently. The two of the, held a fruitful discussion about present status of Cooperatives in Kerala and about Organising NCDC Regional Awards, reads a tweet from the NCDC.
In order to encourage cooperative for better performance, the NCDC organizes regional awards in various states. The cooperative lender recently did so in in Chhattisgarh where it
presented the Regional Excellence and Merit Award 2023 to cooperative societies doing excellent work in Chhattisgarh.
These awards were given away by the state Cooperation Minister Kedar Kashyap who thanked NCDC for disbursing loans of more than Rs 93k crore to the state.
NCDC provides financial benefits to cooperative societies for a wide range of activities like marketing and inputs, sugar, storage, processing and consumer cooperative projects.
