Shiv Sena (UBT) chief and former cm uddhav thackeray has suffered a major setback amid the lok sabha elections in Maharashtra. In the presence of chief minister Eknath Shinde in thane, many leaders of uddhav Thackeray's party shiv sena UBT joined Shiv Sena. During this, cm Eknath Shinde said, "The real shiv sena is with PM Modi, because we have the ideology and bow and arrow (symbol) of balasaheb Thackeray."

Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde accused uddhav thackeray, saying, "He abandoned balasaheb Thackeray's ideology for power and he wants nothing but money."

Earlier, after the announcement of Mahavikas Aghadi candidate, many leaders had joined the Eknath Shinde faction. It was told that there was resentment among these leaders after the announcement of the names of the candidates in MVA. Among them, Dombivali city chief vivek Khamkar, women district organizer Kavita Gawand, Leena Shirke and hundreds of workers had joined shiv sena of Eknath Shinde faction.

On the other hand, in Maharashtra, differences had emerged with bjp leaders after Eknath Shinde faction's shiv sena made naresh Mhaske the candidate from thane lok sabha seat. bjp workers wanted their party's candidate from here. After Navi Mumbai, bjp officials of Mira Bhayandar had resigned. Let us tell you that on May 1, shiv sena Shinde faction on behalf of Mahayuti had announced to field naresh Mhaske in the election.

There are total 48 lok sabha seats in Maharashtra. The first and second phase elections have been completed here. In the third phase in Maharashtra, voting will be held on 11 seats on May 7. In the third phase, voting is taking place in Osmanabad, Latur, Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, Baramati, Solapur, Madha, Sangli, Satara, Kolhapur, Hatkangale and Raigarh.
