This past weekend, I was in D.C. for a work trip. At a dinner party I attended, a retired friend shared that he was auditing a course at Georgetown on Jews in the Islamic world. This being the sort of gathering at which his announcement elicited considerable jealousy (i.e., one of nerds), everyone went around the table and announced what class they’d take if given the option.
