Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 68.87 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 22.32 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 18.88 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 14.44 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 7.75 crore), REC(numbers of share traded: 7.31 crore), BHEL(numbers of share traded: 6.76 crore), Power Finance Corp.(numbers of share traded: 6.69 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 5.33 crore) and SAIL(numbers of share traded: 4.44 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 33.15 points down at 22442.7, while BSE Sensex ended up 17.39 points at 73895.54.
On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd.(down 7.19 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 3.97 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 3.12 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 2.95 per cent) and State Bank of India(down 2.85 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
