Chennai Super Kings won the match against punjab Kings by 28 runs. Speaking after that, the team's captain Ruturaj said that many players in the CSK team have fever. He said that there was a situation of not knowing who to field in the match and he decided on the list of players before the match started. Through this, it has been revealed that many players in the CSK team have fever. The reason for the success of the CSK team is this master plan by Ruturaj-Flemming. Even though they scored only 167 runs in the match against the punjab Kings team, the CSK team won by bowling tremendously. Simarjeet Singh was fielded in the CSK team in this match. He was brilliant with the pace bowling and was instrumental in the win with two wickets. Ruturaj also answered the question of why he was not given a chance earlier.

 Talking about this, Ruturaj said, "We all believed that this pitch was very slow and the bounce was very low. But we got off to a good start and thought we would score 180 to 200 runs. After losing wickets we thought 160 to 170 would be a good score". Next to a question about Simarjeet Singh, he said, "I don't even know what he is doing in our team. He bowled 150 kmph before this IPL series. He didn't get much chance in our team. But, nothing is too late. He has got a chance now. We are an impact. We thought we could drop the batsman, but he can only score 10 or 15 runs, but we dropped Simarjeet Singh as an impact bowler, who thought we would get two or three wickets," said Ruturaj. Also, "Some players in our team have a fever. So they are suffering. Till this morning we don't know who is going to play in the match. But we are happy that we won this match," said Ruturaj.
