Scott's Vacation House Rules is back! Well, sort of. For viewers on HGTV Canada, the renovation series starring Scott McGillivray has returned for its fifth season, but U.S. fans are left scratching their heads.
Scott, a real estate investor and renovator, and designer Debra Salmoni are once again joining forces to help homeowners update their vacation properties. The cottage-themed fifth season promises to be "the most action-packed, rip-roaring, and hilarious season so far." In the HGTV promo, Scott promises the "most dramatic transformations yet."
Scott shared news about the season 5 premiere on Instagram and was met with excitement along with confusion. Fans left notes like:
- "We NEED it to be on in the USA! Please? :)"
- "I don’t think i can see it in the US?😢"
- "I will add some disco moves Travolta style when the show airs in the US 🙌🤩"
- "Do you know when it will air in the US? I love the show!"
Scott dropped into the comments section to say, "it’ll be coming soon to the US, I’ll make an announcement when it does 🙌"
Country Living reached out to HGTV, and a representative from the network explained that they weren't able to confirm a date for the U.S. premiere of Scott's Vacation House Rules yet. We'll stay tuned for updates!
In the meantime, fans in the U.S. can stream the first four seasons on Max.
