Freddie, as she was known throughout the valley, was born to James and Vera (Comer) Angle in Dover, NJ. Raised in Morris County NJ and a graduate of Dover High School, Class of 1955, she later met and married Nicholas Luchycky, of Serafince, Ukraine, on Feb. 13, 1965. Together they raised five children, a daughter and four sons. Life led them across the country, with the family ending up in Gypsum in 1985. For years Freddie worked in Vail and Beaver Creek in the hospitality industry at such properties as The Lodge, Sonnenalp, and The Charter. Warm and gregarious, she was a beloved and loyal friend and co-worker, and a loving, dedicated mother and wife. Preceded in death by her husband Nicholas, and youngest son Nicholas Andrew, she is survived by daughter Michele and sons Patrick, Matthew, and Frederick, two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. An active member of the LDS church in Gypsum, her memorial service will be held there at 10:30 am, Saturday, May 10th.
