A DRIVER has been forced to pay over £700 after being caught speeding in Silverstone.
Stephen Robinson, of North Street, Banbury, was caught speeding on the A43 dual carriage near Silverstone on October 5 last year.
The 33-year-old, who was driving a BMW in Towester, was caught on an automatic speed camera driving 100mph in a 70mph speed limit zone.
At Northampton Magistrates’ Court on April 30 this year, he was found guilty and fined £440. Six penalty points were also added to his driving record.
He was also ordered to pay court costs of £90 and a victim surcharge of £176.
The total amount Robinson will need to pay is £706 by the end of May.
