The Louisville Metro Police seized several motorcycles Friday night under Louisville's street racing ordinance.The LMPD shared in a Facebook post that six motorcycles were taken into custody along with a truck on Oaks night.They said they would seize more as the night went on into early morning Derby day.They haven't shared an update yet of how many were impounded, but they said "there is plenty of room at the tow lot."It's a $1,000 fine for the vehicles' owners along with LMPD retaining possession of the vehicle for six months.This story may be updated if more information becomes available.
