WB Madhyamik 2024 Results out; Mohd Ali, Asif Kamal among state toppers

Mohammad Saharuddin Ali is a student of Mohampur HSSB High School (Malda). He secured the Rank 6 with three other students in the WB Madhyamik Class 10 Top 10 List 2024.
Asif Kamal, a student of Mathabhanga High School in Cooch Behar, has secured the Rank 7 which is shared by a number of students.
Chandrachur Sen, a student of Ramgola High School, Cooch Behar topped the exam with 693 marks (99%).
Samyapriya Guru, a student of II Purulia District School, bagged the 2nd Rank with 692 marks.
Udayan Prasad (Balurghat High School) from South Dinajpur, Pushpita Basuri from Birbhum and Nairit Ranjan Pal from South 24 Parganas (Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission) jointly shared the 3rd Rank.
A total of 57 students have secured a place in the top 10 list. In the West Bengal Class 10 Merit List 2024, 8 students are from South 24 Parganas, 07 each are from South Dinajpur, East Burdwan and East Medinipur, 04 each are from Bankura, Malda and West Medinipur, 02 students each from Nadia and North 24 Parganas, 01 each from Jhargram, Kolkata, Birbhum and North Dinajpur.
WB Madhyamik 2024 Pass Percentage
West Bengal Board of Secondary Education declared Class 10 Madhyamik result on Thursday May 02, 2024.
The state registered an overall pass percentage 86.31%. This is slightly less than 2023 when the pass percentage of 86.15%.
Around 9.12 lakh students from different districts of West Bengal appeared for the examination held from February 02 to 12, 2024.
The results can be checked on the West Bengal board’s official websites at wbbse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in. Apart from the official websites, the results can also be accessed through SMS and DigiLocker.
In 2023, when the exams were held from Feb 23 to March 04, the result was declared on May 19, 2023. The overall pass percentage of Class 10 in 2023 was 86.15.
Meanwhile, the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has also officially confirmed that the result of the WBCHSE Class 12th Higher Secondary H.S. 2024 examinations, also known as Uccha Madhyamik Pariksha, will be declared on May 08, 2024.
