    The Emmy Award-winning series The Boys released its official trailer for the upcoming fourth season at the inaugural CCXP México on Friday night (local time). The reveal was conducted by cast members Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Chace Crawford, Karen Fukuhara, and Claudia Doumit. Fans can expect the new season to be available on Amazon Prime Video from June 13. Here's what you can expect from the upcoming installment.

    Going by the trailer, the forthcoming season of The Boys teases a world on the brink of chaos. Victoria Neuman (Doumit) is nearing the Oval Office, manipulated by Homelander (Starr) consolidating his power. Concurrently, Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) faces a life-threatening countdown, the loss of Becca's son, and challenges in his leadership role within The Boys. Amid internal tensions caused by his deceptions, the team must unite to prevent a global catastrophe.

    New faces join 'The Boys' ensemble cast

    Season 4 will feature new additions to its ensemble cast, including Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The series already boasts a star-studded lineup with Urban, Jack Quaid, Starr, Moriarty, Jessie T Usher, Laz Alonso, Crawford, Tomer Capone, Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, and Cameron Crovetti. Following the trailer's release on social media platforms fans expressed their excitement with comments like "Real cinema is back."

    The Boys is brought to life by executive producers Garth Ennis, and Darick Robertson, and showrunner Eric Kripke, along with Seth Rogen among others. The production is a collaboration between Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures. The fourth season will premiere with three episodes on June 13 on Prime Video, followed by weekly releases leading up to the finale on July 18.
