UiPath has appointed Raghu Malpani as its new Chief Technology Officer, as announced by the company today. Malpani, a seasoned executive with experience at Microsoft and Meta, will be responsible for overseeing the company’s engineering teams and reporting directly to UiPath’s Chief Innovation Officer and Executive Chairman, Daniel Dines.
During his tenure at Microsoft, Malpani served as Corporate Vice President for the Microsoft 365 Application and Data Platform, where he led various global teams responsible for key platforms such as Microsoft Exchange Core and Microsoft Graph. He also held leadership positions at Microsoft Azure cloud offerings. Additionally, Malpani led the global Decisions Platform team at Meta, focusing on building experimentation, personalization, and market intelligence platforms across all product areas at Facebook.
Dines expressed his enthusiasm for Malpani’s appointment, highlighting his technical expertise, leadership skills, and customer-centric approach. Malpani, in turn, expressed his eagerness to contribute to UiPath’s mission of advancing enterprise automation and AI software. He emphasized his commitment to driving impact for UiPath’s customers and evolving the company’s technology strategy to meet evolving market demands.
Malpani holds a degree from the National Institute of Technology in Karnataka, India.
