You can live in Janhvi Kapoor's home, thanks to Airbnb!
This feels like straight out of a Bollywood film! Airbnb has introduced a new category called Icons, featuring the residences of 11 global celebrities. Among these listings is Janhvi Kapoor's Chennai residence, a property originally purchased by her late mother and actor, Sridevi. The listing, named, "Live like Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor," will be open for bookings from May 12 as per the online accommodation marketplace's official website.
Kapoor to host guests at her childhood home
Kapoor will select and host two guests, who can taste authentic South Indian dishes and Kapoor's favorite local treats such as ghee podi rice and palkova. They will also engage in conversations with the actor about her "favorite beauty hacks" inherited from her mother. In addition, Kapoor plans to give a private tour of the house and indulge in a yoga session as well. So much on offer!
Kapoor's childhood home: A coastal oasis
Spread over four acres of land, the property offers stunning ocean views from the deck. In a statement with Airbnb, Kapoor reminisced, "My most cherished childhood memories are of spending summers with my family at our coastal oasis." "This home has always felt like a sanctuary, and I want to share that feeling with my fans. Which is why for the first time ever, I'm opening our home up to a few guests to have the full Kapoor family experience."
Other celebrity homes featured on Airbnb's icons
Airbnb's new Icons category also features other notable locations. These include the X-Men mansion in Westchester County, New York, and comedian Kevin Hart's exclusive Coramino Live Lounge, which is set to open in August. Additionally, fans will have an opportunity to meet singer Doja Cat in October through a special Airbnb experience. The Icons category aims to provide unique experiences by showcasing the residences of global celebrities.
Kapoor has releases planned back-to-back
Coming to Kapoor's work, she was last seen in Bawaal alongside Varun Dhawan. The film premiered on Amazon Prime Video in July 2023. Up next, she has Devara with Jr. NTR in the pipeline, as well as an untitled project with Ram Charan. She is also set to reunite with Dhawan for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and will share the screen with her Roohi co-star Rajkummar Rao in Mr. and Mrs. Mahi.
