Sandals Resorts & ASTA mark Global Travel Advisor Day 2024, honoring travel advisors’ pivotal role in Caribbean travel with engaging events & incentives.
Sandals Resorts and the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) are marking Global Travel Advisor Day 2024 with a series of events designed to celebrate and invest in the invaluable role of travel advisors, particularly their impact on Caribbean travel.
Engaging Online with ‘Facebook Live’
As the sole sponsor of Global Travel Advisor Day 2024, Sandals Resorts will partner with ASTA for a live Facebook event. This online session features a one-on-one chat between ASTA President Zane Kerby and Sandals’ representative Sadler, set for 2:00 p.m. EST on ASTA’s official Facebook page. This discussion will focus on the essential role of Travel Advisors in the hospitality sector, share the latest trends in travel, delve into recent research, and highlight programs that help advisors craft customized experiences for travelers. Additionally, a lucky advisor will win a three-night stay at Sandals’ newest location in Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines during this session.
‘Back to the Beach’ Event in the Caribbean
UVI leaders and Business Development Managers are hosting the most recent ‘Back to the Beach’ event at Beaches Turks & Caicos. This event, which runs through May 3rd, gathers over 80 travel advisors and features discussions on new trends in travel, social media marketing strategies, and destination weddings, set against the stunning backdrop of Grace Bay Beach. The event will culminate in a Global Travel Advisor Day luncheon with a keynote from the Turks and Caicos Islands Minister of Tourism, The Hon. Josephine Connolly, celebrating the advisors’ significant contributions to tourism.
Exclusive Incentives & Brand Promotion
Travel advisors who arrange new six-night minimum bookings at any Sandals or Beaches resort through Unique Vacations, Inc., from May 1-31, for trips up until December 26, 2024, will be eligible for additional incentives of up to $200. Moreover, Sandals has introduced new car wraps for travel advisors, offering a variety of branding options that promise to make a memorable impact during client commutes.
