Everton boss Sean Dyche has admitted he has risked the wrath of his mother after ditching his suit on the touchline.

Dyche did admit there was some reasoning behind his choice to ditch the formal attire - even if it has annoyed his mum.

"It is more the players that have worked with me, they have never seen me in a tracksuit for a game," he said ahead of Everton's match against Luton Town on Friday night.

"There was a bigger picture to it, a much deeper scenario. We looked at how we were coaching, planning and all the rest of it.

"And that was a small thing, we thought 'well, I want change from us so that will be a change for me'.

"My daughter is still getting her head around it. My mum wasn't too happy, she's like, 'I prefer you in a suit, son'.
